FAQ'S

Do I have to use the collision shop that the insurance company tells me to use?
No, it is your choice where you have your vehicle repaired. It is against the law for an Insurance company to tell you where to have your vehicle repaired.

If I do not use the collision shop recommended by the insurance company will my repairs be warrantied?
Yes, we also warranty your collision repairs and refinish for as long as you own your vehicle.

What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. We guarantee all paint and collision workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. A copy of our warranty is given on the day you pick up your vehicle.

When do I have to pay my deductible?

If you are required to pay a deductible, it will have to be paid to Boothbay Collision when the vehicle is completed and ready to be picked up.

What form of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, Money Orders, Personal checks, and Insurance checks. All of our estimates are pre calculated "Cash Discount." If paying with any form of debit or credit card there is a 3.95% customer service fee.
*This fee is being charged to costumers to help keep our costs down for our customers. As you all know most of our jobs are dictated by insurances and with the financial hit with them and credit card processing fees we decided this was our best option rather than increasing our labor rates.

Do you offer payment plans?
We do not.

What if I do not have rental car coverage?
If you do not have rental car coverage, we offer our concierge service. When leaving your vehicle with us, we will be more than happy to take you home or to work. When your vehicle is completed we will pick you up.

Do you offer rental car assistance?
Yes. If you have rental car coverage through your insurance, it will be applied.  If you do not have rental car coverage, courtesy vehicles are available.

If going through insurance does the insurance company pay the collision shop for the repairs?

Yes, we are able to bill insurance companies directly on your behalf. A "Direction of Pay" form that you will sign authorizes our shop to collect payment from your insurance company. If your insurance company pays us directly, you will be responsible for paying us the deductible portion of the repair bill when you pick up your vehicle.

How much does an estimate cost?

You may receive an estimate from us at no cost, no appointment needed.

If I have questions or there are problems, who should I contact?
